Irish low-cost airline Ryanair has this week announced yet another new route from Faro Airport, this time to the northern city of Manchester, UK, with flights starting in April.
As of 13 April, Ryanair will operate a daily flight from its Faro base to Manchester, the airline confirmed on Wednesday this week. It will be the airline’s 13th route from Faro to the UK, and was announced just one month after Ryanair confirmed its Faro-Doncaster flight.
With this latest route Ryanair expects to carry an estimated 100,000 extra passengers to and from Portugal this year.
To celebrate the latest addition to the airline’s ever-growing route portfolio, a special offer of one million seats at €3, on more than 500 routes, for travel on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in February, was held for three days, ending on Thursday this week.
